Leica E Type II Disposable Blade Holder with Base for Microtome

The Leica knife holder E type II is designed for conventional disposable blades from different manufacturers. This knife holder includes a blade rail for low profile disposable blades. A different blade rail is required for high profile blades (not included). Once a disposable blade is inserted, it may be necessary to adjust the clamping force of the clamping plate, depending on the brand being used (see link to instructions for more details). This Leica disposable blade holder also includes the mounting base seen in photos.
