The HIAC 8000A syringe-driven particle counting system is best suited for medical applications. This complete (ready-to-use) system consists of HIAC 8000A particle counter, HIAC 3000 SOS sampler, HR-LD150 sensor with a measuring range of 1.2-150µm (serial #9206-024) and all seen in photos. No computer required. 

The Model 8000A particle counter is a digital 8-channel particle counter for use in batch or online particulate contamination analysis. The instrument can be used in batch system analysis with this configuration. The instrument can also be the focal data processing point for small multi-sensor applications. The HIAC 8000A processes and displays real-time sample data on an LCD display. Particle size distribution data displays in tabular format or graphic format. Get a clear view of analysis parameters, alarm conditions and standards protocol. Completely menu driven, the HIAC 8000A provides keyboard entry for calibration/voltage settings. Enter sample ID and operator names alphanumerically. Users can select alarm limits, selection of standards, sample volume, number of runs, sample time and delay time.

An internal thermal printer provides paper copies. Password protection and a battery-powered backup maintain consistency of operation and program set up for smooth performance in even the busiest facilities. Other instrument features include:

• The ability to save 4 calibration curves in memory which lets a user change sensors quickly.

• Three levels of password-protected access.

• An auto calibration function to help calibrate compatible sensors.
