Corning/Kimble/VWR 1000mL Volumetric Flasks - Class A and B

Class A volumetric flasks feature single graduation ring blasted on the neck. They are constructed of low extractable borosilicate glass. Autoclavable. Volumetric flasks feature 1000 mL capacity with ±0.30 mL tolerance or better.

Class B flasks are general purpose flasks with the same basic design as Class A.  However, volumetric tolerances for Class B instruments are within twice the specified range allowed for Class A, unless otherwise indicated. Soda-lime glass is usually used for these flasks, and thus they are not intended for prolonged exposure to chemicals.
