Wheaton 219760 Graduated Media Bottle with Screw Cap - 1000mL

The Wheaton graduated media bottle has a borosilicate glass body with a polypropylene screw cap. The 1000mL media bottle features hand grips for easy handling and is used to hold samples and for storage, mixing, and sampling applications. The borosilicate glass body provides chemical, thermal expansion, shock, and heat resistance. This Wheaton lab bottle has a marking area to label for security and accountability, and it is graduated for measured dispensing and storing. Heavy walls prevent breakage, so they are sturdier than Erlenmeyer flasks.

The smaller diameter at the base conserves space in sterilizers and freezers. These bottles also have a large opening, sloping shoulders and a pour lip at the top of the neck opening helps prevent drips. The bottle is autoclavable for applications that require sterilization. The borosilicate glass conforms to United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Type I requirements for glass containers.
