MDS Sciex API 3000 - Agilent 1100 HPLC-MS Spectrometer System

This Agilent 1100 Series HPLC system comes as seen in photos and includes the Dell workstation (GPIB card and Windows Vista installed) shown in photos. This system was removed from a working lab and is in good working order.

The Agilent 1100 HPLC system guarantees the most efficient mixing and pulse-free solvent delivery for consistently fast and accurate results. This electronically activated inlet valve runs synchronous to the pistons to eliminate vapor formation in volatile solvent, making the Agilent 1100 both remarkably easy-to-use and maintenance-free. It also features a high-speed proportioning valve and a pre-configured degasser, which allow convenient low-pressure mixing and a large solvent choice flexibility. The HPLC system’s vacuum degasser ensures reduced operating costs without the use of helium and optimum instrument performance.

The unit can be operated with the hand-held controller or the computer running software. The HPLC system features extensive diagnostics with compatible data analysis software for on-site and remote trouble-shooting.

This API 3000 system is functional but it is being sold AS-IS working, as we are unable to fully test it. The Turbo Ion Spray source (P/N 019296) is not functioning properly (temperature of the desolvation chamber does not get hot enough).

The MDS Sciex API 3000 LC/MS/MS spectrometer system is an enhanced high performance triple quadruple mass spectrometer that offers high sensitivity and performance during operation of all MS modes. This makes the 3000 LC/MS/MS System ideal for a variety of applications involving protein and peptide analysis, small molecule analysis in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies. Additionally, the 3000 LC/MS/MS System offers a Mass range of 30 to 3,000 Daltons with a Mass accuracy of 0.01%.

This API 3000 system includes all seen in the photos, including a new spare curtain plate. The TW250S turbomolecular drag pump has already been reconditioned and includes a TD400 frequency converter.
