American Optical StarLite 655C Variable Transformer

The American Optical StarLite 655C microscope illuminators assure cool operation throughout extended periods of use. Fixed pre-focused condenser elements direct brilliant even illumination over the entire stage viewing area. Unique quick-change securing stud allows attachment onto the transformer base or directly to the microscope. The three link adjustable arm with swivel gives unlimited positioning range.

The versatile Starlite illuminator may also be used without the linkage assembly. It is simply set into the Twin-Port microscope arm for incident illumination or inserted in the transilluminating base for transmitted illumination.
