The ZapCap-S sterile bottle-top filter units provide a complete vacuum filtration system designed for the direct filtration of cell culture media, biological fluids, and other aqueous solutions which cannot be autoclaved into sterile glass media bottles. Each filter unit consists of polystyrene housing with a cellulose acetate membrane filter (CA) mounted to a support plate in the upper structure. Cellulose acetate membrane filters (CA) have extremely low protein binding.
