Whatman Reeve Angel Grade 230 is a fast-speed general qualitative filter paper with creped surface (18.5cm diameter). High filtration speed and high loading capacity (weight: 123g/m²). Widely used in industrial laboratories and student laboratories for routine filtration. The filter is wet-strengthened with a small amount of chemically-stable resin to extend the life of the filter and improve handling. Normal qualitative applications will not introduce any significant impurities into the filtrate. However, it is not recommended for Kjeldahl nitrogen analysis. Can be used in filter presses; for fine chemicals, pharmacology, culture media, emulsions, soaps and detergents, water tests and also for filtering samples of refined vegetable oils for color test.
