Labconco 117 Rotary Vacuum Pump with Edwards EMF10 Filter (3.6cfm)

This Labconco 117 vacuum pump is in excellent condition, works well and includes the Edwards EMF10 oil mist filter seen in photos. The vacuum hose seen in photos is NOT included.

The Labconco 117 is a durable, dual stage rotary vane mechanical vacuum pump with superior vapor handling capability offering an excellent ultimate pressure of 1x10-4 Torr. These pumps are commonly used for vacuum furnace evacuation, backing turbomolecular pumps, backing diffusion pumps, rotary evaporation, refrigeration system evacuation, epoxy degassing, vacuum sterilization, backing mass spectrometers, freeze drying, vacuum centrifugal applications, vacuum distillation, space research, and other vacuum processes. These Labconco 117 vacuum pumps have a pumping speed displacement of 3.6 CFM.

Edwards EMF 10 oil mist filters are used to separate and trap oil mist and odors discharged with the exhaust from oil sealed rotary vacuum pumps. The oil mist filter has two-part injection molded plastic bodies which contain a fiber composite oil mist filter and an activated carbon odor filter. Exhaust gases from the pump travel upwards to the center of the oil mist filter and through the filter element to the outside. Oil droplets that are trapped by the fiber composite element travel down the filter and collect in a reservoir in the base of the oil mist filter.
