Organomation nitrogen evaporators (such as the N-EVAP and MULTIVAP lines) use individual chrome-plated brass needle valves mounted on a valve tube assembly to give precise, independent gas-flow control for each sample position.

Function and Operation

Independent Flow: Each sample position features its own precision needle valve to regulate or completely shut off nitrogen gas to individual tubes.

Material Design: Valves are individually milled from solid brass and chrome-plated to withstand lab environments and ensure uniform adjustments.

Vertical Adjustment: The valve tubes and attached needles can be raised or lowered on-the-fly to match varying sample liquid levels and tube heights.

Gas Conservation: Unused positions can be completely shut off clockwise to conserve nitrogen supply during smaller batch runs. 

Thicker Diameter: A 16 gauge needle has a wider opening and a thicker stainless steel shaft than the standard 19 gauge needle.

Higher Gas Flow: The larger opening allows you to push a higher volume of nitrogen gas into the sample tube, speeding up evaporation for large sample volumes or less volatile solvents.

Sturdier Shaft: The thicker metal is much less likely to bend or warp during heavy, daily laboratory use.
