Leitz Wetzlar REDYX Regulating Transformer

The Leitz Wetzlar REDYX transformer is ideally used to provide an adjustable power supply to 6-volt to 8-volt (6V–8V) lamp systems and illuminators for stereo or compound light microscopes. It is primarily used to power substage illuminators or incident light illuminators (like the Ultropak) on Leitz Ortholux stands. The unit is designed for alternating current (AC) and typically handles 120V or 220V input, converting it to a lower voltage for microscope lamps. It features a variable control (regulating) dial to adjust the intensity of the microscope light.
