Sherwood 410 Flame Photometer

The Sherwood Model 410 is a single channel, low temperature flame photometer for the determination of Na, K and Li in clinical samples. For biological samples, flame photometry is the most sensitive and robust method for the determination of Sodium, Potassium and Lithium. The Model 410 flame photometer is delivered with Na, K and Li filters pre-fitted and an appropriate multi-element calibrator in mmol/L (1 x 100mL). The Model 410 Scientific instrument is also fitted with a digital interface and Sodium linearisation facility allowing direct, straight line, calibration of clinically significant concentrations of Sodium, as well as Potassium and Lithium, following suitable dilution. The digital interface allows you to connect the single-channel flame photometer to a printer or a computer. Print results with sequence number, designation (blank, calibration, sample, and repeat), and date/time stamp. Mounts directly onto the front cover of the flame photometer. The module also features the ability to linearize sodium curves for measuring in the 100 to 200 mmol/liter range typical of serum samples.
