Glas-Col O394 Heating Mantle - 50mL

Glas-Col versatile fabric mantle's exterior is heavy fiberglass or silicone impregnated with pliable inner fabric lining. It can heat to 400°C (internal operating temperature) and is ideal for use on stir plates. Circuits terminate with a 2-wire twistlock (plug is not included). Heating mantles must be operated through a power control (not included). Heating mantles are preferred to Bunsen burners or hot plates for organic liquids. They provide even heating (no hot spots) and maximum surface coverage for better temperature uniformity. The Series O spherical flask mantle covers only the flask's bottom half, letting you see its full contents. Comes as seen in photos.
