Corning 4100-500 or PYREX Vista 70100-500 Flat-Bottom Flask - 500mL

These 500 mL PYREX and PYREX VISTA flat bottom boiling flasks have full length outer 24/40 Standard Taper joints, but with shorter necks. Wall thicknesses are controlled to provide balance between thermal expansion and mechanical strength for greater shock resistance. The 500 mL flat bottom boiling flask is designed to ASTM E-1403. The normal working temperature for PYREX boiling flasks is 230°C. Adapter Nos. 8800, 8820 and 8825 (NOT INCLUDED) are used to connect flasks with different size joints, thus allowing numerous combinations for diverse assemblies.
