Key Uses of Inspection Gage Balls:

• Internal Taper & Cone Measurement: Used to determine taper angles, opening diameters, and theoretical gage line depths.
• Hole, Slot, and Depth Inspection: Precisely measure diameters of small holes, bores, and grooves. When used with a micrometer, they can check widths that standard tools cannot reach.
• Checking Complex Geometries: Ideal for verifying the major diameters of countersinks, gear pitch diameters, and screw threads.
