Honeywell Safety Gas Valve with Venturi Mixing Unit

The Honeywell V4730C/V8730C 1:1 gas/air servo regulated gas valve, with the addition of the 300kW Venturi Mixing Unit (VMU) and a DC fan (not included), are used for modulating industrial premix gas burners, gas boilers, rooftop units and makeup air units to provide precise gas/air blending for process applications.

The venturi generates a negative pressure, drawing gas through the gas valve, with modulation achieved by varying the fan speed. Designed to fit in up to 6 positions on a fan, with flexible mounting options for the gas control. The VMU300 is frequently used in commercial and residential heating systems for reliable, high-turn-down ratio modulation.

The Apollo GB-50 series 2-piece, shut-off bronze ball valve is designed with proven ASTM grade corrosion-resistant materials for main burner applications, with cast-in single or dual pilot taps for faster, simpler installation. Enables a wide modulation range of 14-17% (up to 100% of maximum boiler load). Full port design ensures maximum capacity. Reversible steel lever handle. For natural gas, manufactured and mixed gases, LP gas/air mixtures.
