Labsystems Multiskan RC 351 Microplate Reader

The Labsystems Multiskan RC is an eight-channel vertical light path filter photometer designed to perform both standard photometric and agglutination measurements under the control of a computer (not included). The wavelength (400 - 750 nm or optional 340 - 450 nm) is selected. using maximum eight high quality interference filters held in a filter wheel. This unit has 2 filters - position 2 (420nm) and position 3 (450nm).

The readings can be processed via a serial RS-242C interface. Multiskan RC utilizes the original Labsystems' concept of vertical photometry in which the light beam passes through the whole sample. In vertical photometry, the absorption of light is proportional to the amount of light absorbing substance in the well.
