This all-steel fume hood is the most basic and common of all fume hoods. All steel fume hood is generally applicable for common laboratory applications such as boiling, evaporation, drying, and other applications that emit noxious fumes and vapors.

Constructed of 1.0mm cold-rolled steel plate and coated with epoxy resin spray paint on the surface, which is resistant to mild/moderate acids & bases (e.g., dilute HCl, NaOH), chemical corrosion, and impact. However, hood is not suitable for strong corrosives (concentrated H₂SO₄, HF), as coating may peel over time.

Window sash: 5mm thick tempered glass, safe an dexplosion-proof.

Sash opening: 29"H

Guide plate: Adopting a three-stage exhaust design - harmful gases can be completely discharged. Equipped with interior lights, air monitor, 2 standard electrical sockets and 1 set of column air switches.

NOTE: Photos are an example of the hood's appearance. Polypropylene fume hoods are available as well. PP hoods offer excellent resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Ideal for applications involving HF, aqua regia, concentrated HNO₃, etc.
