Erweka KU1-VT Vibratory Sieve Shaker

This is a vintage Erweka KU1 drive unit equipped with the VT vibration sieve shaker attachment, which operates on a reciprocating cam principle and is designed for particle size analysis, sifting, or separating granular materials and powders. The vibration intensity can be adjusted by changing the speed of the drive unit (speed control is NOT included).

The Erweka KU1 is a specialized universal, modular, high-torque motor drive unit that acts as a "power house" for various interchangeable laboratory attachments used in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food R&D laboratories to perform various tasks using a single motor base. This "all-purpose" design features a quick-release coupling that accepts a wide range of interchangeable heads for uses beyond mixing.
